- Responsible Stewardship
- Our schools are competitive so our town remains attractive
The School Committee serves as the eyes and ears of North Andover for our children's schools. Our schools are burdened by underfunded federal mandates, the strain of increased class sizes, and the competition for quality teachers. Hence, three of our greatest priorities are: - Maintaining accreditation of the High School - We must continue to address the recommendations of NEA which include strengthening core curriculum with electives, and accelerating Advanced Placement participation.
- Curriculum Coordination for the elementary schools - To ensure consistency and better prepare all students for Middle School.
- Contract negotiations - Fair, reasonable, and competitive to keep our teachers as well as hire a top flight permanent Superintendent.
