Day 1 - Recap of the Town Meeting 6 Months, 1 Week ago
I'll be digging through the entry forms but whoever is closest to 377 attendees for Town Meeting without going over will be getting contacted by me as the iPod Shuffle drawing winner.

That 377 out of HOW MANY registered town voters? Out of that how many had to be there because they were officials on the stage or volunteering to run the town meeting. We spent how much on warrant publications and annual report printing for this?

Get's worse... when the vote came up for the new Police Station (one of the larger articles in the warrant) the total number of voters was 277.

The town was in a fairly good spending mood. About $400,000 was added back into Article 14 (it was there and had been amended to take it out but then amended again by Mark Rees to return it) to fix some significant issues with Autran Avenue. Article 16 passed after a pretty good amount of discussion... as did Article 19 relating to the new Police Station at the old Merrimack Valley Credit Union location.

Anyone have any comments on the town meeting for Tuesday night?
